We have an exciting new opportunity for a Production Engineer to join a growing business who specialise in the design and manufacture of innovative movement solutions. The business are market leaders in engineering high performance movement systems, including cabinetry, machinery and other industries. If you're the kind of engineer who loves rolling up your sleeves, turning ideas into real-world products, and owning the journey from concept to production, this role has your name on it.
Your new role
We’re looking for a Design & Production Engineer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and manufacturing discipline. You’ll be hands-on across the full life cycle: designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing solutions into production using robust Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. Provide support for validation and verification activities, working with test engineer. Develop assembly aids, jigs and fixtures, working with quality and operations teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise product design, development and production processes.
What you’ll need to succeed
Ideally, with a degree in mechanical engineering (or similar), experience gained in product design and development, preferably from manufacturing. Strong CAD and Inventor experience, able to work independently or within a team environment.
What you’ll get in return
Salary depending on experience, ranging from £35-45k, 25+8 days holiday, early finish on Fridays. Some flexible working, 5% pension contribution, life assurance x 4.
