Part-Time | 25 Hours Per Week (5-6 Hours Per Day) 3-Month Contract £18.00 per hour. (DOE) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team on a 3-month contract basis in King's Lynn.
This role will focus on processing a backlog of supplier invoices, resolving outstanding queries, and supporting the smooth running of the purchase ledger function.
You will also be involved in reviewing current processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies within the department.
To be successful in this role, you must have previous purchase ledger experience and strong SAP experience, as you will be expected to hit the ground running and work effectively within an established finance environment.
Key Responsibilities Processing a high volume of supplier invoices.
Managing and reducing a backlog of outstanding invoices.
Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.
Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Understanding and managing the end-to-end invoice flow.
Reconciling supplier statements where required.
Identifying and implementing process improvements within the purchase ledger function.
Requirements Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role.
