The predicted salary is between 37338 - 44962 £ per year.
This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a multidisciplinary team delivering clinical interventions, harm reduction, and health promotion to people who use our services.
Role Details
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
- Contract: 3 months initially, with potential extension
- Pay: £17.50 PAYE / £21 Umbrella
- Location: Norwich, Norfolk.

In this role you will:
- Undertake initial physical and mental health screenings, including vital signs, ECGs, height/weight, and general health assessments.
- Carry out toxicology testing (urine/saliva) and support opioid titration under clinical supervision.
- Provide harm reduction interventions, including needle exchange, safer injecting advice, and overdose prevention.
- Deliver BBV education, screening, and vaccination support, ensuring cold-chain compliance.
- Support community alcohol and opioid detoxification, working closely with nurses and prescribers.
- Perform phlebotomy.
- Contribute to Naloxone distribution and training for service users and staff.
- Assist with referrals to inpatient detoxification units and liaise with hospitals as needed.
- Use psychosocial interventions in 1:1 and group settings to promote engagement and recovery.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure safe, effective, and timely care.
