A well-established main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major new-build development in Newtown. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work across the public sector, delivering complex Design & Build projects from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role
You will take ownership of a large-scale new-build scheme, working closely with clients, consultants, design teams and the site delivery teams. A key aspect of this role is involvement during the pre-construction phase, contributing to programme development, procurement strategy, risk management and stakeholder engagement before works commence on site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale new-build construction projects
- Strong pre-contract / pre-construction experience
- Experience working under NEC contracts
- Demonstrable track record delivering public sector D&B projects
- Background within a main contractor environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage programmes, budgets, risk and project teams effectively
