An international law firm's Newcastle office is seeking applications from motivated and detail-oriented candidates for an Interim Corporate Paralegal position. This position is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience in a corporate legal environment, particularly candidates who may have had work experience in a corporate team before, or those due to commence a training contract in the not-too-distant future who might be looking for some hands-on experience in a large legal practice.
As part of the wider corporate function, you will assist with a variety of legal, administrative, and project-based tasks, gaining exposure to commercial contracts, governance activity, and general corporate operations.
The role is on an interim basis to begin with; however, my client is seriously considering the possibility of making the role permanent should the successful applicants perform to a high standard. If you are looking for your first job in the law, this would be an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door of one of the biggest law firms in the world.
This role would suit someone who is early in their legal career and eager to gain broad exposure within a busy corporate environment.
- Some prior experience working within a corporate, commercial, or legal team (in-house or private practice) - preferred but not essential.

Desirable:
