An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Officer to join a growing organisation with a strong social purpose. You will play a key role in delivering compliant, value-driven procurement activity across a diverse portfolio, supporting operational and strategic objectives.
Your new role:
- Deliver end-to-end procurement processes across goods, services and works
- Manage tendering activity, including preparation of ITTs, RFQs and evaluation frameworks
- Build and maintain positive supplier relationships, supporting market engagement activities
- Provide expert procurement advice to internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making
- Ensure compliance with procurement legislation and internal governance requirements
- Support contract award processes, including approvals, notifications and supplier feedback
- Embed sustainability, social value, and equality considerations into procurement activity
- Maintain clear audit trails and contribute to value-for-money assessments and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong knowledge of UK public procurement legislation (Procurement Act 2023 or similar)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident analysing data and managing multiple priorities
- Able to work independently while building strong relationships across teams
- A proactive, customer-focused and collaborative approach
Desirable skills and experience:
- CIPS Level 3 qualification (or working towards)
