We are looking to recruit two skilled Plumbers to join our growing team based in Welwyn Garden City. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who take pride in delivering high quality work and outstanding customer service.
About the Role
As a Plumber, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our properties to a high standard. You will be responsible for delivering a reliable, efficient and customer focused service. Your duties will include:
- Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance works
- Demonstrating the ability to do multi skills outside your core trade, including minor building works, basic groundworks and drainage related tasks
- Completing assigned jobs using a handheld device following full training
- Working safely and efficiently in line with best practice and health and safety regulations
- Ensuring excellent customer experience on every job
About You
You will be an experienced Plumber who is confident working independently and as part of a wider team. You will be comfortable working in all weather conditions and capable of managing your workload effectively. You will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong competence using small hand tools (own tools required)
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- A strong understanding of health and safety standards
- A customer focused approach with good communication skills
Experience working within social or local authority housing is desirable.
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
- JIB PMES CSCS Card (Blue) or working towards
You must also:
- Have your own tools
- Hold a full or automatic UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months (A company van is provided for work use only)
