We're currently a Mobile Support Officer in Crewe on behalf of our social housing client, for a minimum of 3 months on a 35-hour per week contract. This is a community-based role, so a driving licence, access to your own vehicle and business insurance are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in Sheltered Housing, Retirement Living, Supported Housing or Independent Living who enjoy a varied, people-focused role supporting customers to remain living safely and independently within their own homes.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide a flexible Supported Living service across a defined geographical area
- Carry out wellbeing visits, reviews and updates to support plans
- Install, maintain and remove portable emergency alarm equipment
- Respond to emergency alerts and service-related incidents across the patch
- Complete risk assessments linked to health, fall prevention, lifestyle and housing conditions
- Signpost or refer customers to internal teams, family members or external agencies
- Advocate for customers who may find it difficult to represent their own needs
- Maintain accurate manual and electronic records
- Act as an ambassador for the organisation and uphold safeguarding responsibilities
