Job Description

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in West Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed MFL Teacher to cover maternity leave from October Half Term. This is a part-time job working a minimum of 3 days a week until the end of the academic year. Full-time is an option for the right candidate. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. Job Description
- Delivering engaging and creative MFL lessons.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Recent experience teaching Spanish and/or French at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
