This ER Advisor / ER Consultant role focuses on supporting managers with employee relations matters, particularly absence management, while driving consistency, compliance, and best practice across the business. You'll play a key role in coaching leaders, managing ER casework, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of HR policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of employee relations matters including:
    • Sickness absence
    • Disciplinary and grievance cases
    • Capability and performance issues
  • Provide expert advice to managers, investigators, and hearing panels
  • Coach and support managers to apply HR policies fairly and consistently
  • Analyse absence data and produce actionable insights and improvement plans
  • Support and deliver training on employee relations topics
  • Lead or support formal investigations where required
  • Contribute to HR policy development and continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
