Your new school Ripplevale School and College is a specialist education provider committed to supporting pupils and students with social, emotional and mental health needs. The school places emotional wellbeing at the heart of its educational approach and offers a highly collaborative, supportive working environment where staff are encouraged to develop professionally while making a genuine difference to young people's lives.

You will be joining a dedicated Therapies and Intervention Team that works closely across the school to deliver a holistic, pupil-centred provision aligned to EHCP objectives and best practice in wellbeing support.

Your new role As an Emotional Wellbeing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils and students experiencing social, emotional and mental health challenges. Working alongside the Emotional Wellbeing Manager, you will help deliver targeted emotional wellbeing interventions using CBT-based strategies through the school's mentoring and intervention programmes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and group mentoring
  • Supporting therapeutic programmes
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Contributing to intervention planning and review
