Your new company Working with a hospital in Rhyl, you will be supporting one of their critical services as a Medical Secretary covering a gap in the team until Christmas with potential for beyond into the new year. Your new role You will be full-time office based, and will spend your time supporting 2 consultants with comprehensive medical administration. You will be part of a mid-sized team that pulls together to work effectively and efficiently. This busy administration role will see you managing complex diaries, prioritising conflicting interests and issuing of medical results. General office administration will be required, such as filing, scanning, issuing post etc. You will be a point of contact for patients and other medical staff in the hospital for the consultants. No minute taking will be required for this post.What you’ll need to succeed Prior experience as a medical secretary would be preferred for this post. However, if you have worked in medical records, or any form of patient administration, you will be considered. You will be using your excellent time management and prioritisation skills daily in this busy post. A confident communicator, you will be comfortable dealing with patient enquiries via phone and have an excellent standard of written and verbal English. You will be used to managing complex diaries, and have a strong sense of initiative.What you’ll get in return Working with a credible team, you will have an hourly rate of up to £15ph inclusive of holiday roll up, and be paid weekly. You will be in post for circa 6 weeks, but with the option for extensions in other departments.
