Your New Company Hays Building Services are pleased to be assisting a public sector organisation in Bath with the recruitment of a Mechanical Services Engineer to support their busy team.Your New RoleYou will manage the services provided by the mechanical services section, including operational and maintenance services, to ensure that mechanical services, plant and equipment are operated and maintained safely, efficiently, reliably, and compliant with relevant legislation.You will add and update assets on the Department’s PPM database, schedule and issue PPM work to craft supervisors or specialist contractors, as well as provide engineering related advice and consultation for new build and refurbishment projects to client departments as necessary.What You’ll Need To SucceedYou will have previous experience within Mechanical/Plant Maintenance or Building Services Engineering, experience in building services engineering maintenance management, as well as experience of management, supervision or instruction of craft staff and specialist contractors.What You’ll Get In ReturnThis role is being offered at an hourly rate between £17 – £24 per hour on an interim contract for 3 months initially with the potential to be permanent.What You’ll Need To Do NowIf you’re interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
