You will be joining a long-established Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Consultancy that delivers technical design and advisory services across a wide range of sectors. Their portfolio includes commercial, industrial, education, health, leisure, hotel and residential projects, spanning both new-build and refurbishment schemes. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take responsibility for producing and delivering mechanical building services designs from concept stage through to project completion. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and CAD technicians within a supportive and technically strong team. Producing mechanical building services designs, calculations, specifications and drawings Leading or supporting mechanical design packages across multiple projects Coordinating with internal design teams, CAD specialists and external consultants Attending site surveys, inspections and design meetings Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations, industry standards and client expectations Projects you will work on: Commercial offices and workplace fit-outs Industrial and manufacturing facilities MOD and secure-infrastructure projects requiring robust mechanical engineering solutions These sectors reflect the consultancy's established capability within the UK construction industry. Software used: You will work with AutoCAD, IES, Hevacomp, and other modelling tools the consultancy invests in to support consistent, high-quality design output.
