Your new company is an expanding and ambitious London Market insurance broker seeking a Marine Account Handler / Technician to join its growing team. The organisation is a dynamic and entrepreneurial business with a strong presence in the marine insurance space, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across Hull and War risks. Your new role involves taking ownership of a varied portfolio, providing full end-to-end technical support across marine insurance accounts. You will be responsible for preparing and processing market documentation, including slips, endorsements and client documentation, ensuring all outputs are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. You will manage the placement process, including submission of risks via electronic platforms and direct engagement with underwriters, while ensuring accurate and timely processing of premiums, debit and credit notes and policy documentation. The position also involves managing renewals and mid-term adjustments efficiently, maintaining strong relationships with both clients and the market. Working closely with placing brokers, you will provide technical expertise across Hull and War placements while supporting the wider team.
