An established and internationally recognised Lloyd's-accredited insurance broker is looking to appoint a Marine Claims Technician to join its London-based Claims team. Operating across the Lloyd's and wider London Market, the business has a strong global footprint and is known for delivering a high-quality, client-focused service across speciality lines, particularly within Marine.
In this role, you will support the handling and administration of Marine claims, with exposure across either Marine Cargo or Hull Machinery (H M) risks. You will assist with the end-to-end claims process, from notification through to settlement, ensuring all claims are processed accurately and in line with market standards. You will liaise closely with brokers, clients, insurers, adjusters and third parties, maintaining clear communication and ensuring claims progression is managed efficiently.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate claims records
- Processing claims transactions
- Supporting the preparation of claims documentation
- Monitoring claims activity within Lloyd's systems such as ECF
