A leading manufacturer is seeking a skilled and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join its high-performance production team. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge military technology in a role that blends hands-on engineering with strategic process development.

You'll be responsible for optimising manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the introduction of new products into production. Working closely with design, quality, and operations teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring that complex assemblies meet rigorous standards for performance and reliability.

Your new role:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for precision-engineered components
  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and prototype builds
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and reduce waste
  • Ensure compliance with defence and quality standards (ISO, AS9100, etc.)
  • Use CAD and simulation tools to validate manufacturing feasibility

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a high-spec manufacturing environment (defence, aerospace, automotive)
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
