As a Private Client Tax Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll manage relationships with privately or family-owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies, and business owners, advising on a broad range of complex UK and international tax matters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading client engagements and managing tax advisory projects
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating across service lines to deliver integrated solutions
  • Staying up to date with UK and overseas tax legislation and technical developments
  • Supporting and coaching junior team members
  • Contributing to business development and thought leadership through networking and technical writing

You'll work closely with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners, and be part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA and/or CTA qualification (or international equivalent)
  • Relevant and up-to-date UK (and some overseas) tax knowledge
  • Experience advising privately owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies, and business owners
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple client engagements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A coaching mindset and commitment to developing others
  • Strong written communication skills, including technical memos and reports
  • Initiative, drive, and the ability to build trusted client relationships
