Your new role
/n As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will work across a broad range of professional and project-based instruction, supporting clients with their commercial property requirements. You will be involved in delivering high-quality surveying services while developing your expertise across a varied and engaging workload.
/n Key responsibilities will include:
/n
/n
- Undertaking acquisition surveys and providing associated advice.
/n
- Carrying out dilapidations surveys and negotiating settlements.
/n
- Preparing and managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
/n
- Acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment and improvement projects.
/n
- Delivering project management services from inception through to completion.
/n
- Advising on and monitoring statutory compliance requirements.
/n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships with clients and industry professionals.
/n

What you'll need to succeed
/n
/n
- Be a newly qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or approaching qualification.
/n
- Have 1-2 years' experience in a Building Surveying role, ideally gained within the commercial property sector.
/n
- Possess experience across both professional and project-based building surveying work.
/n
- Have knowledge of acquisition surveys, dilapidations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), contract administration, project management, and statutory compliance.
/n
- Be proactive, ambitious, and eager to contribute to the growth and success of a developing team.
/n
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel as required.
/n
