Our client is a highly regarded, global professional services organisation seeking a Senior Claims Handler to join its expanding claims function. Your new role
As a Senior Claims Handler, you will manage a portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims from first notification through to resolution. You will work closely with insurers, brokers, legal representatives and policyholders to deliver commercially sound outcomes while maintaining exceptional service standards. This is a fully remote opportunity suited to an experienced claims professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of Professional Indemnity claims from notification to settlement
- Assessing coverage, liability and quantum in line with policy terms
- Liaising with insurers, brokers, solicitors and insured parties
- Producing clear and accurate reports, including reserve recommendations
- Ensuring claims are handled in line with regulatory frameworks and internal service standards
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation across claims systems
- Supporting negotiations and contributing to dispute resolution strategies
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience handling Professional Indemnity or Financial Lines claims
- Strong understanding of UK insurance claims processes and frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Experience working with insurers, law firms or within a legal services environment (desirable)
- Professional qualifications (e.g. CII) are not essential
