Our client is a leading claimant law firm seeking Personal Injury Solicitors / Senior Solicitors during a period of growth. This opportunity is suitable for experienced EL/PL/OL lawyers as well as litigators from RTA backgrounds looking to retrain into this area. The role offers a high-quality caseload, excellent training and development, and strong earning potential through a transparent bonus structure.

Your new role

You will manage your own caseload of employer's liability, occupiers' liability and/or public liability claims, handling matters from inception through to conclusion. Depending on your level of experience, this may include both fast-track and multi-track litigation, with exposure to complex and higher-value claims. The firm operates with strong referral sources, providing genuine claimant work and a strong flow of quality instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of EL, OL and/or PL claims from inception to settlement or trial.
  • Handle pre-litigated and litigated matters.
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements and other legal documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice to clients.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurers and opponent representatives.
  • Progress cases efficiently in line with procedural requirements.
  • Attend court hearings and advocacy where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the claims process.
  • Support and mentor junior team members (senior-level applicants).

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Experience handling claimant personal injury litigation.
  • Previous OL/PL experience is desirable but not essential for candidates seeking a retraining opportunity.
  • Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and client care skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and organised approach to case management.
