An established professional body is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its Complaints and Resolution function. This organisation plays a key role in maintaining professional standards, managing complaints processes and supporting public confidence within a regulated profession. This role is offered on a remote working basis. You will provide independent legal and procedural advice on complaints, investigations and professional conduct matters. Working closely with colleagues across complaints, governance and legal functions, you will help ensure cases are prepared thoroughly, fairly and in accordance with established procedures. Reviewing complaints, investigations, evidence and case papers in preparation for hearings and decision-making panels. Advising on professional conduct matters, procedural fairness, evidential issues and regulatory standards. Attending hearings and panels to provide independent legal and procedural advice. Reviewing determinations, outcome letters and decisions to ensure legal and procedural accuracy. Advising on governance, safeguarding, equality, data protection and risk-related issues. Contributing to the development of policies, procedures, guidance materials and training programmes. To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive in England & Wales Experience handling complaints, investigations, disciplinary or professional conduct matters. Knowledge of regulatory, tribunal or professional disciplinary processes. A collaborative approach combined with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
