You'll be joining a well-established and fast-growing manufacturing organisation. The business is now investing heavily in its digital and online capabilities and seeking a Head of E-commerce to join their team. The company has a hands-on, collaborative culture, where people work closely together on-site to drive commercial performance and deliver new ideas at pace.
Your new role
As Head of E-commerce, you'll take full ownership of the company's online trading performance, overseeing their online sales channel and shaping its future growth. You'll take the lead on e-commerce and manage the day-to-day duties, manage paid acquisition activity, optimise the website for improved conversion, and ensure the online customer journey continually evolves to support revenue targets. A key part of the role is managing and enhancing the business's Shopify platform, ensuring the website is well-maintained, commercially effective and ready to scale. You'll also work closely with teams across sales, product and technical functions, managing one direct report and providing insight-led recommendations to support broader business goals.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience managing and developing an e-commerce site on Shopify is essential
- Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for online revenue performance
- Experience leading paid acquisition activity, particularly PPC
- A data-led approach with the ability to improve conversion and customer journeys
- Team leadership experience and confidence working cross-functionally
- B2B e-commerce exposure is highly desirable
- The ability to work on-site in Trafford Park five days a week is essential.
