Providing expert-level 3rd line support and technical leadership across Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows OS, Apple Business Manager, iOS device management, policy deployment and PowerShell automation. These are exciting opportunities to work as part of a growing End User Services UK department supporting multiple high-profile clients as part of our client's portfolio.
The role of Application Packager will be a forward-thinking position, which supports the client by providing software in a controlled and monitored method. It also allows you to drive a path for change, improvement, and efficiency as standard. This is an opportunity to drive your own improvements and change the landscape for end user experience.
You will join our Workplace Technology team. The successful candidates will provide expert-level 3rd Line support and technical leadership across Microsoft's modern workplace technologies, including Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows OS, Apple Business Manager, iOS device management, policy deployment, and PowerShell automation. This role requires hands-on engineers who can implement, support, and continuously improve workplace solutions while ensuring a secure, stable, and seamless end-user experience.
In order to apply for this role, you must be able to demonstrate strong hands-on 3rd line experience skills in packaging for multiple platforms. Expertise in a variety of packaging tools such as Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Apple Business Manager (ABM), iOS/iPadOS device management, Windows 10 and Windows 11, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365 Administration, PowerShell scripting and automation. Strong knowledge of different packaging formats. Experience in troubleshooting issues. Experience working within enterprise and highly regulated environments. Experience deploying and managing: Configuration Profiles, Compliance, Policies, Security Policies, Application Packaging and Deployment, Conditional Access Policies. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Please be clear that only candidates that meet the above criteria with the right to work and that are resident in the UK will be considered. No sponsorship is available. This role will involve working 5 days a week on-site in the UK at sites based in either Manchester or Inverness, so you should be based in a commutable location from either site.
