Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a global manufacturing group based near Leominster, Herefordshire to recruit a driven and dynamic Management Accountant. A permanent and progressive accounting role with the opportunity of remote/hybrid working. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be preparing, developing and analysing financial information, to allow the organisation to make well-informed decisions. Offering study support for ACCA/CIMA/ACA and a generous bonus scheme, this is a great opportunity to join a leading and entrepreneurial manufacturing group.Your new role Your key duties will involve having responsibility for the Fixed Asset Register and the verification of assets across the UK sites, ownership of the IFRS 16 Leased Asset Accounting and continually reviewing Assets Under Construction and capitalising Assets. You will be working closely with key stakeholders to collate longer term Capex spend plans for the Budget and Strat Plan years, posting journals, accruals and prepayments, along with capex project reviews and forecasting capex spend/depreciation. You will work with key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information to assist with decision-making, and identifying areas which could be more efficient in order to give more time to value-added activities.
