We are recruiting for a newly created Management Accountant role, offering both temporary and permanent opportunities, based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex. This position is fully office-based, Monday to Friday, and will therefore suit candidates who are locally based and able to commute to the office 5 days per week.
This is a broad, hands-on Management Accountant position within a growing business. As this is a newly created role, you will have the opportunity to help shape processes, improve reporting, and add real value through insight and problem-solving.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Producing accurate and timely financial reports
- Supporting operational teams with financial insight
- Improving and streamlining finance processes
- Ad hoc analysis and involvement in business projects
The Ideal Candidate
- Ideally ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified, though strong Finalists or excellent QBE candidates will also be considered
- Proven experience within a Management Accountant or similar role
- Confident working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Innovative, solutions-focused and able to adapt quickly
- Strong attention to detail
