Job Description
Your new companyYou will be joining an existing trades team at one of the largest employers in the Aberdeen area. They are able to offer the right person a long-term, ongoing contract with great additional perks and the ability to work on a variety of projects across the city.Your new role
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on domestic properties in Aberdeen
- Perform repairs, installations, and refurbishments to a high standard
- Contracts will include kitchen & bathroom installation, upgrading domestic plumbing as well as reactive repairs.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet service targets in line with housing standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be a time-served or SJIB qualified plumber who ideally has experience working in a housing environment, either void housing or occupied properties. Due to the mobile nature of the work, you will need to have a valid UK Driving licence as a van will be provided, and you must be able to commit to a 5-day, 38-hour working week.What you'll get in returnYou will be paid weekly and receive regular updates from your Hays consultant, with queries handled quickly. You will be paid PAYE with no charges and the option of accrued annual leave.
