Your new company Hays are looking for a Maintenance Handyman to work for a large manufacturing and engineering company based on their site in Stockport.
Your new role:
- General Facilities based repairs such as Plumbing tasks, Door repairs, Flooring repairs, plastering, painting and Grounds-keeping.
- Manual handling of delivery and collection goods and materials.
- Comply with the Environmental, Health and Safety Policy and identify health and safety hazards prior to the commencement of work.
- Conduct daily duties in a highly professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area as required.
- Assisting Site Maintenance Engineers with PPM's and Breakdowns when required.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Any of the building / facilities-based skills such as: Carpentry, Bricklaying, Plastering, Plumbing and Decorating.
- Engaging.
- Good Listener.
- Proactive.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Self-starter.
