Your new role
- Full-time position, 5 days per week
- Long-term role to start in September
- Based within a specialist SEN provision room
- Supporting multiple pupils with complex needs, including:
- Non-verbal communication
- Autism (ASD - cognitive learning needs)
- Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Helping to deliver structured support across EYFS to KS2 levels
- Working closely with teachers and SEN specialists to support learning, communication and emotional regulation
What you'll need to succeed
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (NCFE, CACHE, NVQ)
- Strong experience supporting children with SEN and complex needs
- Confidence working with non-verbal pupils and ASD
- Comfortable with personal care responsibilities
- Flexible and adaptable approach across different age groups
