You will be working for a leading provider of housing, care and support services based in London.

Your new role

As a Young Persons Support Worker, your main responsibility will be to provide practical and emotional support to vulnerable residents, whilst preparing regular Risk Assessments and working to existing Support Plans. You will help your clients to sustain their tenancies and involve them in the community, monitor their wellbeing and refer to more specialist staff where required. The role will require signposting to specialist agencies and offering assistance with budgeting and housing legislation. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL ROLE AND, AS SUCH, WILL ENTAIL WORKING TO A 7 DAY PER WEEK ROTA.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need previous experience working within the Support Housing sector and, ideally those in the 16-25-year-old age group, ideally within a residential environment. You will also need to be confident when dealing with individuals with challenging behaviour and proficient at using Microsoft packages, with excellent teamwork skills, demonstrating both collaboration and respect with peers and customers.
