Your new company Hays Education is working in partnership with a nonperforming and values-driven primary academy in North London to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. Your new role As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils within the classroom, including 1:1 and small-group intervention
  • Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, structured learning environment
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Take an active and flexible role within the wider school community
  • Have experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
  • Be passionate about inclusion and supporting students with a range of needs and abilities
  • Be confident working as part of a professional secondary school team
  • Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS
