Your new company Hays Education is working in partnership with a range of secondary schools across London to recruit enthusiastic and committed Teachers of Physical Education for current and forthcoming roles. We are keen to hear from qualified PE teachers who are passionate about promoting physical activity, teamwork and wellbeing, and who can deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across the secondary age range.
Your new role as a Teacher of PE includes:
- Delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
- Planning, preparing and assessing engaging lessons that promote participation and progress
- Encouraging positive attitudes towards physical activity, health and wellbeing
- Contributing to extracurricular sports activities and school competitions where required
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Working collaboratively within a dynamic and supportive department
What you'll need to succeed:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physical Education
- Be confident, organised and able to motivate students of all abilities
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding
