A leading TMT organisation is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the launch of new products and ensure they meet all legal, regulatory, and FCA requirements. This is a hands-on year-long assignment (potential for extension by another year) working across product, marketing, billing, and transformation teams, in an organisation that operates across fast-moving, highly regulated sectors, delivering a wide range of products and services to millions of UK customers.
You will help ensure that new consumer offerings are taken to market in a compliant, fair, transparent, and FCA-aligned manner. You will:
- Advise on bringing consumer products to market legally and compliantly
- Provide guidance on FCA-regulated matters and Consumer Credit Act requirements
- Draft and review Terms & Conditions
- Offer legal oversight of advertising, marketing, and promotional activity
- Partner with cross-functional teams on major transformation projects
What you'll need to succeed:
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive; substantially experienced Paralegals may be considered
- 4+ years' experience (guideline) in consumer law, regulatory law, telecoms or financial services
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial awareness
- Practical, solution-focused approach and ability to handle competing priorities
- Experience supporting transformation programmes is beneficial
- Telecoms experience advantageous
