Your new company Hays Education is working in partnership with a nonperforming and values-driven primary academy in North London to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. Your new role As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils within the classroom, including 1:1 and small-group intervention
- Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, structured learning environment
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Take an active and flexible role within the wider school community
- Have experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
- Be passionate about inclusion and supporting students with a range of needs and abilities
- Be confident working as part of a professional secondary school team
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS
