This popular central London firm is looking to hire a junior costs lawyer to work closely with one other supporting fee earners by assisting with the preparation, negotiation, and management of legal costs.
You will be assisting with the preparation of bills under various bases and costs regimes, assisting with costs budgeting, monitoring budgets, and preparing updates and variations. You will also be ensuring compliance with procedural rules including dealing with solicitor client disputes, and assisting with negotiations and settlement discussions on costs.
Previous experience either in private practice, government or a costs agency is essential.
