Senior Commissioning Engineer (MEICA) Tier 1 Contractor | City of London | 12-Month Contract | £500-£600/day A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across London.
The Role You'll lead commissioning activities from design through to handover, ensuring safe, efficient and snag-free delivery of complex MEICA systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commissioning, testing and system integration activities.
- Lead FATs, SATs and handover processes.
- Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and installation teams.
- Review technical documentation including P&IDs, FDS, electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Produce commissioning plans, progress reports and project documentation.
- Support ECI, site surveys and design reviews.
- Ensure SHEQ compliance and quality standards are maintained throughout.
- Deliver training to client operations and maintenance teams.
About You
- Proven commissioning experience with a main contractor in the UK water sector.
- Strong knowledge of MEICA installation and commissioning.
- Experience delivering projects through to successful handover.
- Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
