Your new company is a leading international financial services and investment business with a strong track record across infrastructure and real asset investments. The organisation manages a diverse global portfolio and is known for its disciplined, long-term investment approach and robust performance management framework.

Your new role as Manager within the International Business team involves overseeing and supporting the performance of a global investment portfolio. You will provide financial and operational insight across international assets, working closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

You will take ownership of a suite of portfolio monitoring tools, enhancing and developing reporting frameworks to track performance against budgets, forecasts, and acquisition cases. Additionally, you will support the production of high-quality materials for senior leadership, including Executive Committee (EXCO) reporting and regional performance reviews.

This role offers excellent exposure to both the operational and investment sides of the business, including portfolio performance, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives such as bolt-on acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance performance monitoring tools across a global investment portfolio
  • Analyse financial performance against budget, forecast, and investment assumptions
  • Review Board and Committee materials from portfolio companies to extract key insights
  • Support the preparation of monthly EXCO packs and quarterly regional review materials
  • Monitor key operational indicators, including health and safety and business performance KPIs
  • Provide analytical support on investment-related activities, including bolt-on acquisitions and business planning
  • Engage with international stakeholders to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting
  • Support annual budgeting processes and international business reviews, including occasional travel
What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business)
  • Professional qualification in corporate finance, private equity, M&A, or related (e.g. ACA, CFA, ACCA)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within financial services, investment, or infrastructure sectors
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
