We are working with a fast-growing, dynamic business based near St John's Wood that is looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing finance team with genuine long-term prospects.
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will support the production of accurate and timely management information and assist with month-end close. Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with monthly management accounts
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Variance analysis and reporting
- Assisting with audit queries and ad-hoc finance projects
What you'll need to succeed
- Part-qualified CIMA / ACCA or actively studying
- Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using SAP is desirable
- Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
