The Finance team are a sociable, engaging team supporting a customer-centric and cutting-edge multi-entity Business Function. The team are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support their Finance Director in a broad and busy role.

Your new role: As the Accounts Assistant, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the finance function, supporting the Ecomm and Stores. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily e-commerce and retail payment reconciliations.
  • Tracking store cash balances, organising cash collections, maintaining floats and probing differences.
  • Ownership of selected balance sheet accounts and the associated reconciliations.
  • Support the Finance Director with cash analysis, auditor requests and ad hoc tasks.

What you'll need to succeed: The ideal candidate will have a background in retail accounting, preferably working towards or AAT qualified with a focus on detail, and be highly motivated. You should be comfortable working across multiple systems and have extensive experience of the MS Excel package.
