/n Hays Education are working in partnership with a mainstream primary school in Allerton who are seeking a Level 3 Qualified 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
/n This role will involve providing targeted one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs, ensuring they are fully supported to access learning and achieve their potential.
/n The role will involve:
/n * Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
/n * Supporting the pupil to access the curriculum and engage positively in classroom activities
/n * Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver targets set out within the EHCP, IEP, or individual support plans
/n * Planning and adapting learning activities, resources, and teaching strategies to meet individual needs
/n * Supporting communication skills, language development, and social interaction
/n * Promoting emotional wellbeing, self-regulation, and positive behaviour
/n * Encouraging independence, confidence, and sustained engagement in learning
/n * Using your Level 3 knowledge and experience to contribute effectively to the wider classroom environment
/n
Previous Experience Required:
/n * Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
/n * Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a mainstream or specialist school setting
/n
