Your new company: We are currently recruiting Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work across social housing estates, ensuring outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard for residents. This is a temporary agency role offering consistent, ongoing work for reliable and hardworking candidates. The role is ideal for individuals with previous outdoor or manual work experience who are comfortable working in all weather conditions and as part of a team.
Your new role: As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the upkeep and presentation of communal outdoor spaces across social housing sites. Duties will include:
- Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
- Strimming and edging around paths, fences, and obstacles
- Hedge trimming and pruning to maintain a neat appearance
- Weed control, including spraying where required
- General grounds upkeep such as maintaining lawns, borders, and planted areas
- Litter picking and clearing communal areas to ensure sites are clean and safe
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, or outdoor labouring experience (preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Full UK driving licence
