We are looking for a Secondary Science Teacher for a well-established, mixed secondary school with a thriving sixth form, serving over 1,300 students aged 11-19. What You'll Be Doing:
- Delivering engaging and differentiated science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Supporting students of varying abilities, including those with additional needs
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Planning and delivering practical experiments in line with safety procedures
- Monitoring progress, providing feedback, and supporting academic achievement
- Building strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and carers
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for inclusive education and student development
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, flexible, and committed approach
- Experience working with SEN / SEMH students would be highly advantageous but is not essential
