Your new company provides logistics services including road and rail transport, warehousing, and terminal management across Scotland. The company has been established for a number of years and works with prestigious clients in the industry. It offers integrated third-party logistics solutions including bonded and non-bonded warehousing and supply chain management to blue-chip customers across Scotland and England.
Your new role involves the efficient and effective management of all physical stock control processes and procedures for customer stocks held on site. You must ensure Health & Safety compliance as part of working routines alongside a fully flexible workforce to deliver all agreed daily operational targets. Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day supervision of a team of Warehouse FLT Operatives.
- Ensuring that the warehouse operation runs to agreed resource levels to meet daily requirements.
- Managing the movement, management, and despatch of stock in accordance with customer standards.
This is a night shift position, working Monday to Thursday.
What you'll need to succeed: Candidates are required to manage a team of 6 Fork Lift Drivers; a licence is not necessary. Experience of managing teams, ideally within a logistics company, is preferred.
