Your new role As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be able to support a KS2 child working alongside the teacher to help manage daily routines and learning activities. You may assist small groups of children as well with tasks. But generally, provide support to a child 1 to 1 as well as being able to modify challenging behaviour if needed by creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This is a flexible and rewarding role where your contribution makes a real difference every day.
What you'll need to succeed To be able to become a Teaching Assistant, you will need to have a Teaching Assistant Qualification.
