They are now seeking a Legal Cashier (Accounts Assistant) to join their team on a permanent and full time basis, based from their Preston offices.

Your new role

As a Legal Cashier, you will be a key member of the Finance Team, responsible for the accurate and compliant handling of client and office accounts. This role involves managing day-to-day banking activities, including electronic transfers, reconciliations and client-to-office transactions, while ensuring all financial records are accurate, up to date and compliant.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing client and office transactions
  • Allocating incoming payments
  • Managing petty cash
  • Raising and posting invoices
  • Maintaining accurate ledgers in line with SRA Accounts Rules

The role also supports month-end and year-end processes, responds to finance queries professionally, and requires a high level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail across all financial reporting and systems.
