You'll be joining a leading UK civils and infrastructure consultancy recognised for delivering complex, high-profile projects across rail, highways, water, energy, defence and aviation. With continued growth in the region and a major new win within the water sector, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support long-term project delivery.
Your new role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of major infrastructure programmes. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets and financial reports across the full project lifecycle
- Monitoring, forecasting and reporting on project costs and programme performance
- Ensuring value for money and commercial efficiency for clients
- Liaising with clients, contractors and stakeholders to support smooth project delivery
- Leading and mentoring junior team members to support their development
- Administering NEC and other contract forms to maintain commercial control and compliance
- Managing contract change effectively and collaboratively
- Providing robust commercial advice to internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in quantity surveying and commercial management within major infrastructure projects
- Strong NEC contract experience
- Professional accreditation (RICS or CICES) preferred
- Background in consultancy is strongly preferred (contractor-only backgrounds are not being considered).
- Experience across infrastructure sectors such as highways, water, rail, energy or utilities
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and strong commercial awareness
