A global law firm has an excellent opportunity for junior candidates looking to build a career in company secretarial work. The firm's Company Secretarial Group works closely with a wide range of UK and international entities in supporting corporate governance and compliance matters.

In your role as a Company Secretarial Assistant, you will manage and expand our client portfolio, ensuring high standards of governance and compliance. You will work closely with colleagues and support new regulatory requirements, including identity verification under recent legislation. More specifically, the successful candidate can expect to be involved in:

  • Incorporating new entities (companies, branches, partnerships);
  • Acting as first point of contact for client queries;
  • Maintaining entity data using specialist software;
  • Preparing and filing statutory documents with Companies House;
  • Drafting resolutions, minutes, and compliance documentation;
  • Processing identity verification and obtaining personal codes;
  • Managing statutory records and compliance diary;
  • Supporting billing, conflict checks, and engagement letters;
  • Liaising with internal teams to identify new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate a strong interest in company secretarial work, but anyone with previous company secretarial experience will be given equal consideration.
