An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Technical Architect to join a high-profile programme supporting NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) on the migration of a critical national infrastructure application to Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across discovery, design assurance, and migration delivery, ensuring a secure, resilient, and operationally ready cloud solution.
Working alongside senior stakeholders, Microsoft specialists, delivery teams, and third-party suppliers, you will act as the technical design authority throughout the cloud migration lifecycle.
Essential Skills Experience
- Extensive experience leading large-scale Azure cloud migration programmes.
- Proven background as a Lead Technical Architect within complex enterprise environments.
- Experience operating at SFIA Level 6/7.
- Ability to provide technical governance across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders and hyperscale cloud providers.
