We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Engineer to join a long-term contract delivering maintenance and compliance services across multiple government sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled electrical professional with strong supervisory experience to work on a mobile basis, supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring high standards of delivery.
Key Job Details
- £200 - 250 per day (Umbrella)
- Contract Length: 6 months initial (ongoing potential)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Location: Mobile (MOJ Home Office sites) - Cambridge or Kent
- Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Lead Engineer Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs on electrical systems and plant
- Supervise and support electrical teams across multiple sites
- Install and commission electrical plant and equipment
- Ensure all works meet industry standards and compliance requirements
- Maintain asset records and provide condition updates
- Liaise with engineering teams to ensure efficient service delivery
