Your new role: As a Freelance Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a school refurbishment project in Lancaster. You will oversee subcontractors and direct labour, manage programme and quality, and maintain strict health and safety standards within a live school environment. The role is site-based and requires a proactive manager who is comfortable running refurbishment works through to completion.
What you'll need to succeed: To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience managing refurbishment projects, ideally within the education sector. You'll hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications as a minimum and have a strong understanding of health and safety compliance. An Enhanced DBS is required (or willingness to obtain one). You'll be well organised, an effective communicator, and confident managing multiple trades on a live site.
